Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Kazan Ismet Erikan paid a visit to the Mari El Republic.
Within the framework of the visit Ismet Erikan met with Head of the Mari El Republic Alexander Evstifeev, the leadership of a number of ministries with the participation of representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and state universities of the Mari El Republic.
Third secretary of the Representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Yoshkar-Ola Andrey Utyatin took part in the meetings.
Issues of development of mutual beneficial cooperation between the Mari El Republic and the Republic of Turkey in various spheres were discussed during the meetings.
