The International festival of bagpipes music «Shyvyr» and the IV all-Russian festival-competition of orchestras and ensembles of national instruments of the peoples of Russia «Multi-faceted Russia» were opened in Yoshkar-Ola.
Instrumental art festivals are held within the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Mari El Republic.
Head of the Mari El Republic Alexander Evstifeev welcomed the participants of the festivals.
Creative teams from more than 20 regions of Russia, Hungary, Germany, and Estonia will take part in the festival.
