About the press tour of foreign media correspondents to Republic of Mari El

On August 9-12, 2024, the Republic of Mari El was visited by correspondents of foreign media: «Iravunk» newspaper, Armenia; Publishing house «Belarus Segodnya», Belarus; «Telesur» TV channel, Venezuela; «VIA» News Agency, Vietnam; «Prensa Latina» News Agency, Cuba; TV and radio company «Kazakhstan», Kazakhstan; «Anadolu» News Agency, Turkey. Foreign guests got acquainted with the tourist potential of the region, in particular, visited Sheremetev Castle in Yurino, the museums of Kozmodemyansk, events dedicated to the Day of the city of Yoshkar-Ola, the «Yoshka Yesh» gastrofestival. As part of the press tour, foreign journalists met with Head of the Republic of Mari El Yu.V. Zaitsev. Foreign journalists laid flowers at the Memorial of Military Glory, honoring the memory of the residents of Mari El who died in the Great Patriotic War. The press tour was organized by the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry with the assistance of the Representative Office of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Yoshkar-Ola on the initiative of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Mari El.
